The Grand Canonical Ensemble (MSU Physics Choir)
The Grand Canonical Ensemble is a small a cappella choir composed of undergraduate and graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty of the physics department and friends thereof. The ensemble is open to singers of all levels of ability and no formal auditions take place. Their repertoire is eclectic, exploring musical genres from Renaissance to pop. They typically perform once each semester and have most recently performed virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
