CAD Format Requirements

If you are designing with SolidWorks, we would like the data you submit to be SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT or .PRT). For other CAD programs, we prefer parasolids (.X_T) files.

Otherwise, we can accept most standard file formats such as : IGES (filename.igs), .STEP, .DWG, etc. While these non-preferred document file types can be accepted, this may result in additional costs due to the time required to translate the information into usable data.
